I study Computer Science, but what's always fascinated me is how people actually experience the technology that is built. I noticed early on that the small decisions; how something is structured, the feedback it provides, where attention is guided can be the difference between a product feeling frustrating or effortless.
Good products aren't just visual or just technical, they come from getting both right, at the same time. I try to work that way too, moving between design and development until neither feels like a compromise.
When I build, I start by understanding where users hesitate or get stuck, and then work backwards to
simplify that experience. Sometimes this means adjusting the interface, sometimes the logic behind it,
often both.
As Steve Jobs once said: "Design is not just what it looks like and feels like.
Design is how it works."
